JCI Herning International
"Personal growth through developing challenges and networking, while also having fun and connecting cultures"
JCI is a membership-based nonprofit organization of young active citizens in ages 18 to 40, who are dedicated to creating positive change in their communities. Each JCI member shares the belief that in order to create lasting positive change, they must improve themselves and the world around them. For creating sustainable impact in the communities, JCI members develop and improve their skills, knowledge and understanding to make informed decisions and take action.
With around 5,000 JCI Local Organizations in more than 100 countries, JCI forms a vibrant global community of nearly 200,000 active citizens. All members belong to a JCI Local Organization where they focus on finding solutions to local issues. The collective action of all JCI Local Organizations forms a global grassroots movement, empowering members to lead global change with thoughts, words, actions and results.
In Denmark, there are 38 Local JCI Organizations at the moment and several more to come already this year. Three out of the 38 are English-speaking 'chapters' and are located in Copenhagen, Herning and Horsens.
If you want to find out more about the English-speaking JCI chapter in Herning - JCI Herning International - join their guest night on 25th of January 2016, where you will be guided through the history of JCI, its achievements around the world, and give you a detailed explanation of how JCI Herning International particularly works.
Since JCI Herning International is a membership-based organization, its events have been created particularly for the members, but everyone has the chance to visit JCI’s events twice as a guest to get the taste of the organization and decide is it something for them.
JCI’s Herning International monthly meetings take place on every 4th Monday of the month, but there can be some modifications due to holidays or the international events of JCI.
