Do you know your coffee?
Herning Internationl Midwest Rotary Club is hosting Ikast Rotary Club - which is one of their four founder clubs - and everyone is invited for a fascinating evening with an inspiring speaker.
Leif Fritsdal, the chief of press and news in District 1450 (Mid Jutland), together with his wife, Nina, will share with us their 'Uganda Project'.
They will show short films from the area and share with us their work for Rotary and 'Seniors without Borders' in eastern Uganda.
We will 'visit' coffee farmers on the volcano Mt. Elgons slopes where life is not always easy. There are many challenges, and water and light are not to be taken for granted.
Participants will also get a glimpse of the coffee farmers' work with the coffee from the flower to the shipment to Denmark and become a little wiser about what a "silver line" means for the quality of the coffee.
The evening will be held in "danglish". Leif and his wife will talk in Danish and the video and conversation with other club members will be in English.
